Bands of America Announces Alumni Event at DCI

Any of the 1.25 million Americans who have participated in Bands of America (BOA) or other Music for All programs are invited to a celebration event Saturday, August 8, outside the Drum Corps International Championships. The event, from 2-5 p.m., includes food, drinks, video viewing, friends, door prizes and surprises for only $10 in advance or $16 on-site. Parking is available on-site for a discount price of $8 if paid in advance.

The BOA Alumni Event will take place in the Hurst Bean Lot, 230 W. McCarty St., at the corner of Capital and McCarty, south of Lucas Oil Stadium. Those who attend the event can register to win a Sharp widescreen, high-definition LCD TV or a Grand Nationals ticket and hotel package.

BOA Alumni include participants, family members and fans of Music for All’s BOA marching championships, Music for All National Festival including concert band/orchestra/percussion, Summer Symposium camp, and/or leadership workshops.
